Jesus Christ. Can anyone even imagine this being written as criticism in the pre-internet era? Watching something as brilliant as Drugstore Cowboy, one of the breakout independent films of the early 90’s and the main point is, oh man I wish I’d seen the protagonists meet for the first time!!

It’s a pretty weird movie, but I actually really liked it. Matt Dillon does a great job as the lead, and the story is really good. Definitely recommend for fans of drugs and crime.
