When Dark Sonic appears, he has the same objective as when he was based from Sonic, to save Chris and Cosmo, but the way he went around doing that was more violent. Dark Sonic is basically Super Sonic but he has had enough of your shit and has lost his moral of no killing, as he gains full intention to kill whichever bad guy stands in his way.
