He is best known for his roles as George McFly in the Back to the Future trilogy, Layne in The River's Edge, and Willard Stiles in Charlie's Angels. Glover has also appeared in a number of other films, including The Doors, What Dreams May Come, and Willard.
Crispin Glover was infamously difficult to work with, not to mention he alienated the BTTF makers to the point where he wasn’t brought back for the sequels, so that was really all his fault; though he did keep acting in major Hollywood features—being in Charlie’s Angels and starring in Willard.
