6 de may. de 2024 · I looked Spirit up in Discogs and saw that’s what they called Spirit. Those folks should have known better, because they must have listened to 12 Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus, a wonderful power pop LP. Nothin’ to Hide is a cheery pop confection about heroin addiction.
Hace 3 días · Notably, Ferguson and bassist Mark Andes had both been founding members of Spirit, but left after the classic Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus album. Anders would also find success in the 1980s as Heart's bassist as they sold millions, while Ferguson would go on to play on Joe Walsh's live album You Can't Argue with a Sick Mind and release a string of solo albums.

27 de abr. de 2024 · I have about a mid-70's pressing of Spirit's "Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus". It's on rather flimsy vinyl but it's an amazing sounding "regular" pressing that stands up to anything else I have in my collection.
