Hace 1 día · The following is a comprehensive discography of Gary Numan, a British singer and musician.Numan (born Gary Webb, 1958) released his first record in 1978 as part of the outfit Tubeway Army.Initially unsuccessful, the band scored a huge hit in 1979 with the single "Are Friends Electric" and their second album Replicas, both of which reached number one in the UK.
Hace 3 días · At the peak of success, Numan opted to premiere four songs in a John Peel session in June 1979 rather than promoting the current album and the Tubeway Army group name was dropped. In September "Cars" reached No. 1 in the UK.
Hace 6 días · Following the hectic schedule of promoting “AFE?”, Numan recorded a new session for John Peel the day after the single hit #1 on the UK charts. Rather than record as Tubeway Army, the session was credited to Gary Numan and the group name abandoned at the peak of it’s success.
The Tubeway Army picture disc was also very good, and I found that at my local record store. I was also able to get some really early Depeche Mode singles, including their very first single Dreaming of Me. Overall, this was another very good batch of records to show you guys.
