Hace 4 días · Playing chords, at least in my case on a guitar, I use thicker picks than when I’m playing tenor banjo. Guitar 0.8 - 1.2 mm; banjo 0.5 - 0.6 mm. I’ve also found that taking the very end of the banjo picks off with a fine sandpaper - just a little to round them off - also helps with speed. This may be my imagination, but is seems to work for me!

I bought at the time the original 4 track EP from '86, but had no idea they recorded three more sessions; another '86 sesh and 87', '88 ones for the show. It's all on YouTube. sevendaughters.
