15 de may. de 2024 · When AC/DC supported Paul Kossoff's post-Free band Back Street Crawler at London’s Marquee in May 1976, it set a strange sequence of events in motion. Angus and co. stayed friends with Crawler singer Terry Slesser and, following Bon Scott’s death, Slesser found himself auditioning for the role of AC/DC frontman.

Terry Slesser. Two almosts, both in 1980. Auditioned without Paul Di'Anno's knowledge, he also auditioned to replace Bon Scott in AC/DC after his death. I'm not sure how he was known to Maiden (maybe through AC/DC?), but he was lead vocals for a band called Back Street Crawler who had opened for AC/DC in UK in 1976. 1. Add a Comment.
