Moore fulfilled a lifelong dream by playing Clapton to ex-Cream men Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker in BBM in 1994, later experimenting with samples and tape loops on 1999’s A Different Beat.

Moore has said that he was inspired to write this song after one of his girlfriends left him, and he felt consumed with grief. He channeled these emotions into creating something beautiful that others could relate to.
