13 de may. de 2024 · A showband was a dance band consisting of 6 to 7 members. To be popular, showbands were expected to perform standard dance numbers as well as pop music hits in the charts. They had to learn every popular genre in Ireland, from country, to pop as well as jazz and even Irish céilí.
