Saccharine Trust began as an arty punk band who went on to meld beat poetry and jazz riffs, before members of that band went on to form Universal Congress Of, who went even more in a mostly instrumental, improvisational direction.
11 de may. de 2024 · I don't know that I know Saccharine Trust, beyond its name, vaguely, but I recall a local guitarist (very good/Birmingham) who was in a few of a late, close friend's bands, recommending Spiderland to another very good guitarist who had also been in the same friend's band, and comparing it to King Crimson.

Keeping it all in the family, Saccharine Trust front man Jack Brewer also makes a rousing appearance.
