Rob Hall (born January 14, 1961, Christchurch, New Zealand—died May 11, 1996, Mount Everest, Nepal) was a New Zealand mountaineering guide and entrepreneur who made five ascents of Earth’s highest peak, Mount Everest.

15 de may. de 2024 · On their way down the mountain, Scott and his teammates met Rob Hall and Gary Ball in Camp II. They were seriously trying to recover from the altitude sickness in the mountain. It took some help from Fischer and his partner, along with other climbers, to help Rob and Gary descend to the base camp.

16 de may. de 2024 · Yes, bodies from the 1996 Everest disaster were found and recovered. The bodies of Scott Fischer, Rob Hall, and Yasuko Namba were discovered and arrangements were made for their removal. However, the bodies of Andy Harris and Doug Hansen were never found.
10 de may. de 2024 · We saw memorials to Rob Hall and Scott Fisher, who were two of the victims. It’s a harrowing reminder of how dangerous the mountains can be, but don’t worry – the dangers lie after base camp, not before it (take a look at my article about Everest Base Camp safety for more information).
