Hace 1 día · It was a late evening in August. We had just arrived at Disney's Beach Club Resort, where we’d be staying for the next four days. The hotel had a huge pool, hot tubs, and a beautiful view of a nearby lake. After finding our deluxe room, we threw our bags down, flopped onto the queen beds, and looked over our schedule for the week.
29 de may. de 2024 · This was the final studio album for BE BOP DELUXE released in 1978, and I can't help but feel that Bill Nelson the leader of the band decided to jump on that New Wave style, ride the wave. TALKING HEADS came to mind a lot and they released their debut in 1977.
28 de may. de 2024 · BE BOP DELUXE had a relatively short five year career but they released five studio albums during that time in the 70's. It's been interesting going through their albums chronologically although I'm missing the debut.
11 de may. de 2024 · Guitarist/leader Bill Nelson has always had his head in a space that's defined by the 1950s World's Fair idea of the future - a world of monorails and strange machines. This is particularly evident here, with Nelson's affection for Japan competing for space with paeans to electrical communication.

18 de may. de 2024 · "Sunburst Finish" was one of two studio albums that Bill Nelson and BE BOP DELUXE released in 1976. Most Prog fans prefer this record and the one that follows "Modern Music" to the 1975 record "Futurama" but I have to disagree.
