Magick Lantern Cycle: Directed by Kenneth Anger. Nine of Kenneth Anger's films: Fireworks, Puce Moment, Rabbit's moon (extended version), Eaux d'Artifice, Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome, Scorpio Rising, Kustom Kar Kommandos, Invocation of My Demon Brother, and Lucifer Rising.
Working exclusively in short films, he produced almost 40 works beginning in 1937, nine of which have been grouped together as the "Magick Lantern Cycle". Anger's films variously merge surrealism with homoeroticism and the occult, and have been described as containing "elements of erotica, documentary, psychodrama, and spectacle".

They are vivid, wildly colourful, richly symbolic and completely dialogue-free films, with Anger often employing existing songs or classical pieces as soundtracks.
Though later released as a singular DVD, this collection of nine short films are considered seminal works by renown filmmaker Kenneth Anger were made from 1947 to 1972.
South Magick, North Lantern. The Cycle is the molten meridian between the two, a glowing sea that brings each country within reaching distance of the other. Its boiling currents, habitual and unconscious, are Anger's obsession with ritual.
