Hace 5 días · Nirvana's record label, DGC Records, had hoped to release a new Nirvana album for the 1992 holiday season; instead, they released the compilation album Incesticide.

I feel like this album has the best mix of grunginess, more pop like stuff while having killer traditional rock stuff at the same time. I love every last track on this album as weird of a mix as it is.
Incesticide was the very first Nirvana I ever heard. It holds a dear place in my heart. Dive, SLIVER, Turn around, Molly's lips, Mexican seafood, hairspray queen, aero zeppelin, aneurysm are still some of my absolute favorite songs.
Lithium single has marionette polaroids that Kurt took, the Incesticide cover is painting from set of paintings Kurt had framed. First is named " Hyperpylaurie Fistula Rectal Abscess Gastroenteritis ". I get that Kurt made both of them but they both are pretty similar.
5 de may. de 2024 · “Been A Son” was written by Kurt Cobain in 1989 and was originally released as a single. The song was later included on the 1992 compilation album Incesticide. According to Cobain, he wrote the song after reading a news article about a woman who had been raped and murdered.
