Dekyi Tsering, known by Tibetans as 'Gyalyum Chemo' or 'Great Mother,' gave birth to 16 children, three of whom were recognized as incarnate lamas.

The primary task were forming of Tibetan National Football Team and organizing football tournaments among the Tibetans. Based on TNSA’s request these four organizations had handed over the Original Gyalyum Chemo Memorial Gold Cup to TNSA. TNSA has organized the GCMGC football tournament more professionally from 2003 onwards.
