The Sisters of Mercy / Floodland / 1987. This sound feels so apart from the dominant trends in popular music right now. Maybe because of that it sounded really refreshing to me I rather enjoyed the crisp sound from the drum machine and the whole goth vibe. Pretty cool and didn't sound as dated as I expected. Floodland has higher highs, but lower lows, so while the best songs on floodland are better than the best songs on their first album, some of the songs are certified skips imo. Vision thing, same as floodland except the highs aren't quite as high.
