If 3BP has piqued your interest in how language can shape a truly alien society and their interactions with humans I highly recommend Embassytown by China Mieville. It's written in a very different style than 3BP, where the worldbuilding and characters are the heavy focus, and sometimes the plot gets lost, but love it.
