4 de may. de 2024 · In my defence, several of the name-checked I was querying were either session tracks for BBC Radio 1 or yet-to-be-released curios unearthed for the first and still definitive Bunnymen box set, Crystal Days 1979 — 1999 — twenty years of recordings over four discs, and which was still some four months away from release.
20 de may. de 2024 · Ray Manzarek, co-founder and keyboardist of The Doors, passed away at the age of 74. Earlier in the year, the rocker had been diagnosed with a rare form of bile duct cancer. Manzarek co-founded The Doors with Jim Morrison in July 1965.

Formado em 1978 pelo vocalista Ian McCulloch, o guitarrista Will Sergeant e o baixista Les Pattinson, conseguiram Pete de Freitas para ser o baterista dois anos depois e partiram para o que ficaria conhecida como a formação clássica.
