He rose to prominence in the late 1970s as the lead singer of the Irish rock band the Boomtown Rats, who achieved popularity as part of the punk rock movement.

13 de may. de 2024 · Bob Geldof (born October 5, 1951, Dún Laoghaire, Ireland) is an Irish rock musician and philanthropic activist who is a member of The Boomtown Rats rock group. He founded the charitable supergroup Band Aid in 1984 and organized the Live Aid concert in 1985 for the relief of famine in Ethiopia.
I’ve seen that boomtown has gained a lot of popularity on Tik Tok recently which has (apparently) had an impact on this years sales as well. I also want to point out that I don’t believe in gatekeeping a festival/event and truly encourage the younger gen to have a good time as they are equally entitled to it.
