Anthony Ainley will be appearing as The Master on and off for the remainder of the Classic Series' run and his performance does settle down somewhat by the end of the show, but I never really could get into his take on the character.

Neil toynay is an anagram of tony ainley and it’s not the last time they played this trick, my favourite being him credited as James stroker or ‘masters joke’. I think it’s a fun little trick and I’d love to see it done again in nuwho.
