The band consists of Romy Madley Croft (guitar, vocals), Oliver Sim (bass guitar, vocals), Jamie Smith, also known as Jamie xx (beats, MPC , record production), and formerly Baria Qureshi (keyboard, guitar).
I’ve listened to xx and Coexist many times and I haven’t yet dipped into I See You. I haven’t seen any particular praise yet for the track Fantasy on xx so I thought I’d mention how much I like it and how I enjoy the patient wait for that first bass note, which also tells me what I need to know about Hi-Fi system I’m testing for work with my dad.
