Thoughts on Shin Godzilla. Yes...I know technically not part of the monsterverse but thought this sub could appreciate my thoughts. First off, this might be the best monster movie ever. Rivaling King Kong (1933). Funny part is I thought it was going to be horrific when I saw GZ's first form. But... the cinematography might be the best I have seen.

The cinematography here is on point. There were so many sequences and shots that had my jaw on the floor. The way Gareth shoots the entire movie from the human POV really gives the monsters their respective sense of scale, making them super intimidating.
