Born named Jenö Blau on November 18, 1899, Blau's musical talents were evident from a very young age. He began learning the violin from his father when he was just three and a half years old.
Hace 1 día · He recorded all four of his piano concertos with the Philadelphia Orchestra; the first, third, and fourth concertos were recorded with Eugene Ormandy in 1939–41, and two versions of the second concerto with Leopold Stokowski in 1924 and 1929.
