That outfit recorded three albums, Rock Art and the X-Ray Style (1999), Global a Go-Go (2001), and Streetcore (2003), the last released by the band following Strummer’s death. The Clash was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.

Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros - "Live at Acton Town Hall". Such an amazing capstone to a legendary career. Vital work that should stand as the high water mark for any “legacy” artist. Mescaleros are still a go-to to this day. Johnny Appleseed is missing from my collection too (I do have the Assembly comp) but there’s not substitute.
