Hace 9 horas · Strontium-90. After diet intake, the absorption fraction of strontium in the intestine is 0.2–0.3. Thus, the considerable proportion of the 90 Sr ingested passes through the intestine in transit. As a result, the dose to the intestine walls (and associated lymphoid tissue) exceeds the dose to other soft tissues.
