20 de may. de 2024 · Downside School in Somerset has been graded ‘Outstanding’ in all nine categories by the Catholic Schools Inspectorate, following the visit of inspectors from 25th-26th April 2024 which examined the school’s Catholic life and mission, religious education, and collective worship.

21 de may. de 2024 · We are incredibly proud of our Lower Sixth pupil Zara who has just been invited to join the National Youth Theatre following a highly competitive process in which over 5,000 people auditioned and approximately 8% were accepted. The National Youth Theatre is ‘”a place to not be boring.
24 de may. de 2024 · During the dinner, the Head, Andrew, provided an insightful update on future plans for the School, sparking engaging discussions and offering guests the opportunity to ask questions about Downside’s direction and developments. We are already looking forward to the next gathering.
21 de may. de 2024 · With this story in my head, I decided to start the St. Isidore Society at Downside to offer a place to those pupils who needed a place to just be themselves. St. Isidore was a Hispano-Roman scholar, theologian, and archbishop of Seville.
