18 de may. de 2024 · I would say a box is a container enclosed on all sides, that has a lid that has to be opened in order to access the contents. A slipcase is in effect a box with one side missing, out of which the contents can be removed ('slipped'). However, any additional packaging, and certainly a slipcase, is eligible for the Box Set format category.

The exact nature of the enclosing can be described in release notes & shown in the images. No need for a format list of different variants of 'set' packaging. Permalink.
20 de may. de 2024 · The DVD that accompanies "The Beatles in Stereo" box set has a red Apple label (similar to that on the original US "Let It Be" LP). In late 2010, the compilation albums 1962–1966 and 1967–1970 were issued again, in addition a box set "1962–1970" containing both sets, released in the UK and Europe, and a similar box set released in the US with added photo cards and a stamp.
