15 de may. de 2024 · (Psalm 23:1) “Father, thank You for being my Shepherd, the One who leads my life. Stand on the hillsides where I can see You. Also, don’t let me miss You. As a sheep, I will look to You, listen to Your voice, and follow Your leading.

The Lord is the Shepherd of His people and they are His sheep; so David said, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”. In eastern lands, the shepherd goes before his flock—he leads them.
3 de may. de 2024 · (Psalm 23:1-2) Sometimes the “green pastures” don’t look so green, do they? And the waters—they’re certainly not still. Often, the path before us looks barren and storm-filled. Truthfully, even when our circumstances look grim, our Good Shepherd is near.

Hace 1 día · He will never tempt us (James 1:13) or abandon us (Matthew 28:20, Hebrews 13:5, Deuteronomy 31:6). When we know we're safe and secured, that's when we sigh in relief and can rest. When our doors are locked, we're in our beds, and all is quiet, that's when we're best able to physically rest, knowing that we are safe and secured from the elements and harm.

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
