Located approximately 10 miles (16 km) southeast of Berwick-upon-Tweed, the closest town on the mainland, Lindisfarne measures just 3 miles (4.8 km) from east to west and 1.5 miles (2.4 km) from north to south.

Birdlife, flora and fauna abound, including seals from the neighbouring Farne Islands who are frequent visitors.

10 de may. de 2024 · In Easter week I had the privilege of going on pilgrimage to Lindisfarne, a Holy Island off the north east coast of England, with a group of young people. It was a wonderful, deep, fun, prayerful experience.
