Provisional Admission. California State University, Long Beach may provisionally admit first-time freshman applicants based on their academic preparation through the junior year of high school and planned coursework for the senior year.

For CSU Long Beach admissions, you'll need to meet the following general requirements: 1. A-G courses: Complete a set of high school courses that meet the A-G requirements: - A) History/social science (2 years) - B) English (4 years) - C) Mathematics (3 years, 4 recommended) - D) Laboratory science (2 years, 3 recommended)
According to the CSU Long Beach's most recent admissions data, the average high school GPA of accepted students is around 3.7 on a 4.0 scale. Keep in mind that this is just an average, and there will be students who are admitted with GPAs higher or lower than this point.
