Folk-proggers Lindisfarne achieved two Top 10 hits in 1972, reaching No.5 with Meet Me On The Corner and later No.3 with Lady Eleanor.
Hace 3 días · Lindisfarne is an English folk rock band from Newcastle upon Tyne, formed in 1968 (originally called Brethren). The original lineup consisted of Alan Hull (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Ray Jackson (vocals, mandolin, harmonica), Simon Cowe (guitar, mandolin, banjo, keyboards), Rod Clements (bass, violin), and Ray Laidlaw (drums).
