WE CAN’s Executive Director Lisa Guyon said, “Our Woman of the Year is chosen because she has proven to be a tireless advocate for women and girls, a role model in her life and career for others, and someone who has led for social change with courage and grace.”

1 de may. de 2024 · Arnie was Kathrine’s running coach; she joined his running club at university and he was glad to have her as part of the group. He overcame his own doubt about women being able to run marathons, challenging Kathrine to run the marathon distance of 26 miles in their training (not only did she do that during their training, but she carried on running for a further 5 miles!).
15 de may. de 2024 · In the face of road closures, Boston traffic, a complete lack of parking and her passengers stating blatantly “I’m going to pee my pants” I watched Robin guide her family safely to each destination as she does each day of her life. In these moments of complete disarray, Robin’s steadfast character shown as brightly to me as it ever has.
