Un gran grupo de más de 50 personas, entre clientes y sherpas, se dio la vuelta desde al campo 4 (7.200 m), y solamente Bartek Ziemski y Oswald Rodrigo Pereira continuaron adelante y alcanzaron la cima recorriendo esa difícil sección sin cuerdas fijas ni oxígeno ni la asistencia de sherpas.
