Hace 5 días · Jonny Greenwood was born on 5 November 1971 in Oxford, England. His brother, the Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood, is two years older. Their father served in the British Army as a bomb disposal expert. The Greenwood family has historical ties to the Communist Party of Great Britain and the socialist Fabian Society.
According to Greenwood, the record is their attempt of “trying to imagine what Kraftwerk would have done if they’d been in Cairo in the 1970s”. The Radiohead musician, who married into an Israeli family, also doesn’t want the album to be perceived as making a “political point”.
