Hace 6 días · The second solo album by Gilmour is quite different from the debut one, yet it still largely succeeds. Gilmour has a stellar help including Porcaro, Lord, Winwood etc. The overall sound is excellent and arrangements are decent, 80's oriented but not dated thanks to a live feeling.

With the lyrics of the tracks ‘All Lovers are Deranged’ and ‘Love on the Air’ penned by The Who driving force Pete Townshend, the incumbent Pink Floyd leader compared their situations within the respective outfits and solo projects.
15 de may. de 2024 · David Gilmour has announced the release of his first new album in nine years. Entitled Luck and Strange, it will be released on September 6th through Sony Music. The first track from the album, “The Piper’s Call,” will premiere on Thursday, April 25th.
