I don’t know how to explain it, but when I watch GG Allin documentaries or interviews, for some reason it just brings me back to the 90s. I was a mere infant when GG died, but it shows a side of the 90s that I certainly was never exposed to. Something raw and real about it.
I just completed doctoral research on GG Allin for my class this semester. It focuses on GG's rock n roll mission he formulated in prison and focuses on his violent tendencies. It's only about 20 pages, about the right length to submit to a scholarly journal.
