Dick Tracy was, essentially, done more effectively and much more entertainingly back in 1981, 1984, and 1989 with Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The source material was too esoteric for it to achieve anything close to the success of Batman. Vote. Reply.
