22 de may. de 2024 · Brand X was a British jazz rock fusion outfit formed by Genesis drummer Phil Collins and Atomic Rooster guitarist John Goodsall as a side project from their regular groups. Their initial line up also included keyboardist Robin Lumley and bassist Percy Jones.

But the bass playing of Percy Jones is a force to be reckoned with. The language the band speaks is impressive and delicate.

3 de dic. de 2021 · Unlike most Brand X songs, "Sun in the Night" featured vocals. Phil Collins provided the vocals, singing in Sanskrit. John Goodsall, who wrote the song, also plays sitar on it. The song, which was released as a promo, was the first track on "Moroccan Roll". The album would reach Number 37 on the UK Album chart.
