12 de may. de 2024 · Blue Valentine has been in my watchlist for quite some time now as I was a huge fan of “A Place Beyond the Pines” which was also directed by Derek Cianfrance. Was it the best idea to watch this at 3am? Definitely not, but this is an absolute emotional rollercoaster of romance, marriage and dysfunction families. Depressing is an understatement for this film.

We also learn that she was sexually active since 13 and had 20-25 partners, which means she never had a serious or long-term relationship. Bobby even asks if she cheated on her husband, maybe because she cheated in the past, but we can't say for sure. Marrying Dean after such a short period of knowing him was clearly a mistake.
