24 de may. de 2024 · To tell you the truth I was a little bit skeptical when I first learned about the Warlord tribute project set by drummer and founding member Mark Zonder and singer Giles Lavery to honor the music and memory of founder guitarist William J Tsamis who unfortunately passed away back in 2021.
Hace 1 día · William J Tsamis was there. His music, his legend, his compositions, evolved into complete songs. In total excitement I texted Giles a single message "Bill is alive". The very next evening found Mark, Giles and I talking about the album, about Bill, about the music and the legacy.
14 de may. de 2024 · The band describes this album as a way in which to pay tribute to founding guitarist William J. Tsamis, who sadly passed away in 2021, featuring songs inspired by leftover material Bill had kept on old demos that the band considered more than worthy enough to follow up on.

14 de may. de 2024 · Fifteen long years later, interestingly enough the reunion would not only include original Drummer Mark Zonder and Guitarist William J Tsamis, but also Hammerfall’s Joacim Cans joining up on vocals as they put out Rising Out of the Ashes in 2002.
10 de may. de 2024 · Up until the present day, »The Holy Empire« would remain the last Warlord studio album with all new material, as William J. Tsamis sadly passed away on 13th of May 2021 at the age of 60.
