It's definitely one of those Better progressive metal bands that have come out. I've heard lots of bands that consider themselves prog metal, but in reality a lot of them seem to be Dream Theater wanna-bes. Ice Age has a wonderfully progressive feel to them, adding in an age of surrealism.
