4 de may. de 2024 · Fugazi - as a band - were quite well known for discouraging behaviour that was actively violent, both in song and in live situations. They'd call people out (but always with a polite/sarcastic "sir" or "madam"), embarass stage divers and persistent offenders* were given their money back & shown the door.

18 de may. de 2024 · So, saying Fugazi's 'just start a band' pronouncement is their 'let them eat cake' moment is a real fucking stretch (also, it's a callback to the Rosetta Stone of DC hardcore - The Damned's Machine Gun Etiquette. As I've stated above, it was far more fanciful in 1979 than it was in the mid-90s.)

6 de may. de 2024 · As with seemingly everyone here, it's The Argument that really clicked with me, just a great mix of odd melodiousness and punk starkness. I like 13 songs and Repeater at lot as well. Have to say though I've always struggled to connect with most of the stuff in between.
