Sussex House is an independent day school for boys aged eight to thirteen. The school is located in a beautiful house in Chelsea which has been lovingly restored to its original Victorian splendour.
Sussex House School (commonly known as Sussex House), is a boys’ preparatory school located in Chelsea, London. Founded in 1952, the school occupies a house designed by Norman Shaw at 68 Cadogan Square, and since 1994 has operated as an independent charitable trust.

This website can only give you a small taste of what we do at Sussex House. Our new Virtual Tour can be viewed here. All admission enquiries should be addressed to the Director of Admissions. Boys are accepted from the age of eight and only later if there is a place available.
Senior Schools. The school has an outstanding record of results of Common Entrance and Scholarship entry to the most demanding senior schools. In any given year around 80% of our pupils go on to Eton, King’s Wimbledon, St. Paul’s, Westminster and Winchester.
