Hace 5 días · Alan Vega, one half of the Suicide duo, was influenced by the Ghost Rider comic book character, which provided a starting point for the song’s lyrics. However, the true inspiration came from the feelings of alienation and frustration that Vega and bandmate Martin Rev experienced as artists in New York City during the 1970s.
