2 de may. de 2024 · Tokyo subway attack of 1995, coordinated multiple-point terrorist attack in Tokyo on March 20, 1995, in which the odourless, colourless, and highly toxic nerve gas sarin was released in the city’s subway system. The attack resulted in the deaths of 12 (later increased to 13) people, and some 5,500 others were injured to varying degrees.

Hace 1 día · It was the 1977 version of Subway Sect who played on Ambition, but manager Bernie Rhodes then sacked everyone, with the exception of Vic Godard. It took two years for things to get back to some sort of normality, and the new line-up took the name of Vic Godard & The Subway Sect, recording the debut album What’s The Matter Boy? in 1980.
3 de may. de 2024 · Asahara Shoko, founder of AUM Shinrikyo (“Supreme Truth”; renamed Aleph in 2000), a millenarian new religious movement in Japan. Asahara and members of his sect were found guilty of carrying out a 1995 sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway system that killed 13 people and injured some 5,500. He was executed in 2018.
