The track’s lyrics present a protagonist talking about an idealistic, adventurous person—most likely a love interest—who may be ill-informed but is inspiring and refreshing nonetheless.

The Lightning Seeds is one example but no-one is going to tell me jollification isn't britpop. John Power had success with the la's but again, for me all change by cast is britpop. Paul Weller, don't need to say anything about him except Stanley Road was always high on our playlist and I think most would consider that album britpop.

He had long been part of the music scene, as a member of a number of bands in his native Liverpool, as a sought-after producer and, since 1989, as a pop star in his own right thanks to The Lightning Seeds, which was the name taken to launch his solo career.
