He has played with American jazz saxophonist and composer Tim Berne, and also with Fred Hersch, Tony Malaby, Tom Varner, Drew Gress, Kenny Werner, Mark Helias, and Simon Nabatov.

  6. As an added note, this record's yet more proof of just how incredible and infectiously-energetic Tom Rainey is behind the drum kit. I got to see him play in a number of Tim Berne's groups back in the early 00s and, to this day, will immediately purchase any new release that he appears on.
