7 de may. de 2024 · Extract. The opera Einstein on the Beach (1976) by Philip Glass and Robert Wilson was performed as part of the Belgrade International Theatre Festival when I was a toddler. I was too young to see it in my home city at that time, but the impact that this work had on the artistic scene there still resonated clearly when I studied musicology in Belgrade and became interested in contemporary opera.
