Later Clapton took the band and went on to record the album at Criteria Studios in Florida. I was really looking forward to seeing Dave Mason, as I was always a Traffic fan.

Eric dedicated “River of Tears” (from his 1998 album, Pilgrim) in honor of David Sanborn, who passed away on Sunday.
