I could go on to tell you the multiple instruments and roles they all have in the band as I usually would but when it comes to LCD Soundsystem this list would quickly become far too long.
1 de jul. de 2024 · Hailing from New York City, LCD Soundsystem could easily garner a crowd at the Hydro but it was a personal choice to play the East End stage, one motivated by sentimentality - as lead vocalist James Murphy told the audience it’s his ‘favourite venue in [his] favourite city in the world’. It’s no surprise either.
Hace 3 días · The band numbered eight people, led by Murphy, eternally cool keyboard player Nancy Whang (who. took rap leads on Other Voices and Get Innocuous!) and drummer Pat Mahoney, whose noisy beat the others often physically congregated around. Their control over their audience was masterful.
